Full Body Mixer

Today's workout is a full body mixer including two traditional strength exercises followed by a circuit of four functional exercises.

Landmine Workout

Today's workout is a full body workout utilizing the landmine. The main advantage of working with the landmine is the ability to hit smaller, complimentary muscles during somewhat traditional exercise movements.

Chest / Legs / Core

Today's workout is what I like to call TraFunctional ... a mix of functional and traditional exercises in a superset format. In today's superset workout we are focusing on Chest, Legs and Core.

Cardio – Trail Run

Today's workout is another Endurance run, we can call this one a Hill or Trail Run. The goal of this run is to learn how to vary inclines between hills and flats.

Cardio – Endurance Run

Today's workout will be the [ANTI] steady-state run. This will be a 4-mile endurance run, broken up by variable speeds, inclines and exercises. Mileage will work in a pyramid fashion.

Cardio – HIIT

Today's workout will emphasize High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). The goal of HIIT is to train your body how to push up to and through its aerobic threshold while still allowing your body adequate recovery periods.

Plate Workout

The Gym is packed! I'm on the road in a hotel fitness center! I need a change of pace from my daily workout routine! For situations like these your best plan of action is to get your hands on a 25, 35, or 45 pound plate, find a corner of the room and GET TO WORK!
